Ms. George's practice emphasizes estate planning, probate matters, conservatorship/guardianship cases and elder law. She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Davis in 1981; majoring in Political Science/Public Service and minoring in English. She received her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in l984.

Prior to becoming of Counsel to the firm, Ms. George was a deputy district attorney with the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office where she acquired extensive litigation experience; prosecuting approximately 200 jury trials to verdict. The bulk of her experience dealt with representing children victims of sexual and physical abuse.

Since going on to private practice, Ms. George has represented numerous clients on estate planning and probate matters, including conservatorships and guardianships. She has also represented clients on both physical and financial elder abuse cases.

Ms. George is a member of the Contra Costa Bar Association and serves on its Board of Directors. She is an Associate Professor of Law at John F. Kennedy School of Law in Pleasant Hill and the Director of the school’s Elder Law Clinic. She is a past President of Contra Costa Senior Legal Services, a private, non-profit corporation that provides free civil legal services to senior residents of Contra Costa County who are 60 years of age or older. Ms. George is the president of the Martinez Music Forum, a non-profit organization that raises money for public school music programs in the Martinez area.
